Nucleus Research finds customers realize positive returns from predictive analytics

In-depth evaluation report shows how companies can improve marketing ROI
Nucleus Research, a global provider of IT research and advisory services, recently announced the results of an independent analysis of a predictive marketing solution. The study identified key areas where predictive marketing users achieve returns. In its report, Nucleus Research identified key benefits from predictive analytics including more precise targeting of marketing campaigns, reduced mailing costs and increased staff productivity. Nucleus Research discovered many customers are looking to predictive analytics as a way to mine existing data to better understand and predict the behavior of customers.

Key findings include:

  • Predictive analytics can enable customers to reduce mailings by up to 50 percent, while maintaining or improving campaign response volumes
  • Using predictive analytics can increase marketing staff productivity by 40 to 60 percent
  • Predictive analytics customers were able to increase revenues by better targeting the promotions they sent to customers
